Addressing the Needs in Today’s Culture: 
Answering Jesus’ question “Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15) has often been the starting point for catechetical materials. But today, many people are asking the same question about themselves: “Who do you say that I am?” So many in our current culture are trying to find their identity, find their purpose, and uphold their dignity, but they have never been shown the dignity and real identity of who they were created to be—a beloved son or daughter of God.
