Dear Parents,

We are pleased that you have made the sacrifices needed to send your children to Catholic Schools. We at the parish partner with the Catholic Schools to offer the Sacramental program for your children. Since your children have religion classes daily, the educational part of the preparation is provided by the school. However, the Sacraments are received in the parish.  Therefore, you must enroll your children in the Sacramental Programs provided by the parish, which will include the retreats and a few supplemental items to complete their preparation.

The parish program instituted by the Bishop is a two-year program, which begins normally in the fall of the first grade and concluded in the spring of second grade.

An outline of the process is as follows:

• Attend a Baptism retreat

• Attend a Faith Formation Lenten retreat

• Attend retreat on Reconciliation Program
• Reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation

• Attend Retreat on Confirmation and 1st Eucharist Program
• Reception of Confirmation and First Communion
