Sacramental catechesis (preparing children for first sacraments) is distinct from, and indeed, over and above the regular religious education programs offered either in the parish or in the Catholic School. 

Childen participate in General Religious Education either through the Parish Faith Formation, Catholic Schools or through Homeschooling.  In addition to the General Religious Education program they will also participate in the Parish Direct Sacramental Preparation Program.

Prince of Peace believes that Parents are the primary educators of their children in matters of faith.  We have specifically designed our program to assist and support parents in this important role!  Our program is comprised of the following:

• Parent Meetings
• Parent Led Instruction Books (1 in year 1, 2 in year 2)
• Parent/Child Retreat opportunities (2 in year 1, 3 in year 2)
