As the month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, let us honor Him in a very special and personalized way. Invite Jesus to come and rule over your home and family.
Through Home Enthronement, Jesus in enthroned as King of your home and family. Is Jesus knocking at your door? Will you invite Him in? Jesus wants to bring His Heart full of Love into your home. He desires to become one of the family, sharing your joys and sorrows.
Just as you receive the true presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist at Mass, He desires, through His Image to continue to be present spiritually in your home, which is the "domestic church."
Home Enthronement is . . .- A solemn ceremony where Jesus is given authority over your family.
- A ceremony that takes place in your home as an act of homage offered to Jesus Christ, the King of Kings.
- A social recognition of the Kingship of Jesus over the home and all society.
- An act of social reparation to make up for all who have "de-throned" Jesus through godless legislation, schools, and families.
The Adoration Team, along with Fr. Raja, would like to help you through the process of Enthroning Jesus as King of your home. Some have asked if this is like a house blessing. Although, the Priest does bless your home during the ceremony, home enthronement is an invitation to Jesus to become one of the family, King and Head of your household.You may learn more about home enthronement on the Sacred Heart Apostolate website.
