Council 106 has over 200 catholic members dedicated to Charity, Unity and Fraternity. They are based at the Basilica of Saint Peter and Paul in Lewiston and support, in cooperation with other brother Knights of Columbus Councils, the Prince of Peace parish

Becoming a Knight
Easily join online or visit your local council for an introduction.
Age and Catholic Status:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and a practicing Catholic in good standing. This means regularly attending Mass and adhering to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Council Contact:
Interested individuals should contact their local Knights of Columbus council and express their interest.
Recruitment and Application:
Attend a council meeting or recruitment event and fill out an application form.
Initiation Ceremony:
Upon approval of the application, a First Degree initiation ceremony will be held. This ceremony introduces the candidate to the principles of the Knights of Columbus and involves taking an oath and receiving symbols of membership.
Degrees of Knighthood:
After completing the First Degree, members can progress through higher degrees (Second and Third) which offer additional opportunities for service and leadership, according to www.mqhkofc.org.
Ongoing Membership:
To remain in good standing, members need to pay annual dues and participate in council activities.
