Words can not explain our gratitude to each and every veteran for their service in defense of our country and special thanks to those who gave the ultimate gift to ensure our freedom.
Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Family Church located at 607 Sabattus Street in Lewiston will host a community-wide Veterans Day Prayer Service. This is the fifteenth year that Prince of Peace Parish offers the “We Remember and Give Thanks” evening of refection, honoring those who have served and those who are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.
This service will be held on Monday, November 12, at 6:30 pm at Holy Family Church. This is a community service and all are invited no matter what religion or faith affiliation.
Area clergy will join together to commemorate our brave men and women in prayer and song. The choir will be directed and accompanied by Dr. Paul Caron, who will perform his own arrangement of military songs that honor the branches of our military as the various flags are presented.
All veterans, active and inactive, and their families and friends are invited to attend. The WHOLE COMMUNITY is invited to pray and give thanks to our veterans. all are invited no matter what denomination or faith affiliation.

Music for the occasion will be a combined effort of the choir members from area Lewiston and Auburn churches directed and accompanied by Dr. Paul Caron, who will perform his own arrangement of military songs that honor the different branches of our military as the flags for each are presented.
