February 4, 2012, 12:00 AM - February 5, 2012, 12:00 AM
On Sunday, February 5, over 100 million Americans will tune in to the Super Bowl football game. There will be parties with abundant food, friendship and fellowhip. At the same time, there will be people worrying about staying warm, finding shelter and a warm meal.
Please join teens from our EDGE Middle School and Life Teen High School youth ministry as they demonstrate God's love by loving their neighbors through the Souper Bowl of Caring. Drop $1 (or more) in the soup pot as you leave Mass on February 4 and 5.
Last year, Prince of Peace Parish generously donated $1,075, which was distributed to area food pantries and soup kitchens. This year, Calvary City Mission Meals will be included in our distribution. Our goal is to raise $1,325, a $250 increase. Working together, we can make a difference. If you miss us at Mass, donations may be brought or sent to the Parish Office at 16 Ste. Croix Street during regular business hours. Thank you!
