Every year the parish participates in the deMontfort Consecration to Jesus through Mary. For those who would like to do this for the first time, Donna Simoneau provides evening sessions in the Spring and immediate preparation of 33 days leading up to August 15. The parish offers a public act of consecration to Jesus through Mary at the Mass of the Feast of the Assumption, August 15. Each year, we encourage people to participate in the 30 day preparation period.

De Montfort Studies & Meditations
A time of meditation guided by the reflections of
St. Louis de Montfort of all seeking Jesus through Mary.For those who would like to learn more of the spirituality of deMontfort and his total consecration to Jesus through Mary, classes of study and prayer are available during evening sessions. All are welcome to join this time, especially those who have already read the material and would like a refresher.
1st Time Consecration Studies
For first time members Donna will use the text:
St. Louis de Montfort introduces his consecration with " The Secret of Mary". This secret sets forth the admonitions of the state of soul necessary to consecrate oneself to Jesus through Mary.
Reign of Jesus through Mary by Gabriel Denis & Ture Devotion By St., Louis de Montfortde Montfort also offers a warning that this consecration is for use for your own personal salvation and sanctification.
The secret works its effects in the soul only in proportion
to the use made of it.
For these reasons we offer the days of meditation

33 Day Prep for those renewing their ConsecrationPrior to making your consecration, de Montfort presents a period of 33 days examen of purifying your thoughts and self for consecration covering, The world, yourself, Mary, & Jesus. In union with de Montfort's warning that this consecration is for use for your own personal salvation and sanctification.We offer a daily reflection containing each days meditation and prayer, from de Monfort's "Preparation for Total Consecration" See below for these downloadable texts.This year moving deeper in de Montfort's relationship and knowledge of Jesus the Divine Wisdom, we are studying his book Eternal Wisdom. Simply joining the series of meditations of the "Reign of Jesus through Mary" or "True Devotion" will help you to discern if this is the way of life you would like to pursue.
This will then lead you to participate in the 33 days of preparation and final consecration.
