Dear Fr. Daniel,
In the name of the Dominican Sisters, please accept this $25,000 donation to Prince of Peace Parish for the Holy Family bell tower project. Being part of the Lewiston's Catholic community for several years has been a blessing for each of us individually and as a Dominican community. Our sisters arrived from France to minister to the immigrants in 1904 and have been a presence in the area since then. God has blessed us in many ways and those of us who are left are privileged to continue carrying the torch and preaching in different ways in our 21st century church.

Thank you for the energy you spend in making Jesus known to the Lewiston Catholic community. Thank you also for your support of our Dominican community and for the collaboration that we experience with you here in Lewiston. Personally, my 35 years here have involved many changes in my ministry. The next month ahead will be difficult, no double, but together we will get through it and help one another focus on the future of our church. May God give us all the strength we need.
