May 21, 2023OUR SEMINARIAN HOA'S REFLECTION
Dear Parishioners,
My pastoral year at the Prince of Peace parish passed quickly. On May 19th, I will be moving out of the parish rectory to the Parish of the Resurrection in Old Town for a brief summer assignment.
Reflecting on my pastoral year, I felt God's grace profoundly on me, and I have come to see that it is Jesus who calls me to serve the people in Maine. I have gained a lot of insight into how an American parish operates thanks to the direction of the priests, parish staffs and sacristans. Thank you all, and hopefully the good things learned this pastoral year will bear fruit in my vocation to the priesthood.
I will return to Vietnam to visit my home for June. I am very excited to go home to visit my family and loved ones after 4 years. My plan is to come back to the US and continue my Summer assignment in the Old Town until I return to seminary in mid-August. Please continue to keep me in your prayers, as I will pray for you. Know that all your faces, handshakes, and loving hugs will always be with me.
