Cross the Street Ministry

Members of the parish are gathering to finalize the plan for going into the downtown area and meet the people who live on the street.  The primary reason for this ministry is to engage them, meet them, acknowledge their presence, and assist them in ways in which we can. 

We also plan on offering them a bag of food and necessary items that will be of help to them.  We are forming two groups, one will work behind the scenes shopping and preparing the packs and the other group will have direct contact with the homeless.
