"Then the king will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kindgom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me." - Matthew 25:34-36
Ongoing Service Project
Prince of Peace is looking for families to cook dinners for the residents of St. Martin de Porres home located at 23 Bartlett Street, Lewiston. St. Martin de Porres Residence is an adult residence for homeless men and women. The families will go to St. Martin's to prepare a meal and then sit and eat with the residents of the home.
If you are interested in this ministry, or any of our other outreach opportunities, please contact the Parish Office at 207-777-1200.

Help Feed the Hungry
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me. Mt 25:35
A group of Prince of Peace parishioners are serving breakfast two Sunday mornings a month at Calvary City Mission. The City Mission provides free dinner every Wednesday night and breakfast every Sunday morning.
Gift cards to Hannaford, Shaw's, BJ's, Cumberland Farms, and Walmart or cash donations would help offset the cost of milk, sugar, butter, and coffee, which are not always available at the Good Shepherd Food Bank. Aunt Jemima (just add water) Pancake Mix is also a welcome gift.
If you would like to make a donation or are considering volunteering, please contact Barbara Moran at 207-576-8619.

Kairos Prison Ministry - I was in prison, and you came to visit me. Mt 25:36
The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.
Journeying to the Fullness of Life: Are you searching for a rewarding experience? We are ordinary Catholic men like yourself that are called to do our share in the new evangelization. We as brothers in Christ are journeying to the fullness of life that only Jesus can provide us with. As we journey, we share weekly Sunday Liturgy and dialog on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with jail inmates at the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn.
Please join us as we “Visit the Imprisoned.” For more information, call Al 207-782-8628, John 978-549-0252, Bruce 207-333-1446, or Bert 207-783-3559.
